PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Steveson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and ross bain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). bain has chosen Showtek Black as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Steveson drops his hands momentarily and bain takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Steveson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with bain but bain pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Steveson feints and as bain raises his hands in defense, Steveson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Steveson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

bain throws a series of punches but Steveson avoids them all with ease.

Steveson avoids a punch combination nicely.

ross bain showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Steveson stands up and we're back to a striking position.
bain lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Steveson backs up against the cage.

bain lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
bain goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
