The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Sano and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sackett is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Blackhill.
Blackhill blocks a jab.
Sackett misses with an uppercut. Blackhill saw that one coming.
A looping hook to the body misses from Blackhill. Sackett does a little dance to reset his feet.
Blackhill misses the shot to the body.
Blackhill scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Blackhill thuds his right hand into Sackett's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Blackhill throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sackett sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Sackett drives through with a takedown into Blackhill's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Blackhill enables Sackett to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Blackhill manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Sackett is looking to work some ground and pound but Blackhill has wrist control.
Blackhill is pulling down on Sackett's head. It's preventing any offense from Sackett, at least for the moment.
Blackhill bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sackett's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well Blackhill has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
