Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Josh Lloyed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Quim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jimmy Quim has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Josh Lloyed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jimmy Quim!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quim shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lloyed sprawls well. Lloyed wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Quim gets slowly back to his feet.

Lloyed darts in and clinches Quim up against the cage.

Quim breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Quim fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Lloyed pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lloyed thuds his right hand into Quim's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Quim tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lloyed sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Quim somewhat.
Josh Lloyed has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy Quim.
Lloyed throws a head kick that half lands.
Lloyed jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Quim looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lloyed is fending him off so far but Quim persists. Nope, Lloyed circles away and we're back to standing.

Lloyed gets control of Quim's arms and successfully pulls guard. Lloyed will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Quim accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Lloyed is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Quim looks to land a left hand but Lloyed moved out of range nicely.
Lloyed lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Quim shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lloyed as he jumps to the side.

Quim shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Quim was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Lloyed ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Lloyed no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Quim postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Lloyed is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Quim, into his guard.
Quim is looking to stand up but Lloyed isn't so interested in that idea.

Lloyed drops back, looking for a kneebar! Quim looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Quim looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Quim!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lloyed wants to get back to full guard but Quim has passed into side control.
Quim wants to take a breather but Lloyed manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Quim.

Quim manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lloyed manages to get himself to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Quim stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lloyed swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Quim is fighting to break Lloyed's control of his arms but Lloyed is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Lloyed controls Quim momentarily but Quim frees himself.
Quim postures up in Lloyed's guard and throws a big left but Lloyed blocks it.

Jimmy Quim showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Lloyed's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Lloyed is keen to just control but Quim is a slippery customer.

Lloyed is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Quim is just riding it out for now. Lloyed eventually gives up the hold.

Quim is working for a rear naked choke. Lloyed is not defending it well and Quim has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Lloyed refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Lloyed's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
