The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Strife fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gionet manages to avoid it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Cloud Strife will probably get the nod.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Gionet tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Strife wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Gionet manages to work his way to half guard, despite Strife's best efforts.

Strife is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Gionet defends it well.
