The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Landis throws a jab when Martigan was well out of range.
Martigan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Landis.
Landis throws the left hand but Martigan avoids the punch easily.
Landis is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Martigan.
Landis throws an overhand right that lands on Martigan's shoulder, as Martigan tries to avoid the shot.
A swing and a miss from Landis.
Martigan scores with a jab to the jaw.
Martigan connects with a crisp jab.
Martigan cracks the inside of Landis's front leg.
Landis throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Martigan sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Martigan shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Landis misses with a looping left.
Landis throws a hook to the side of Martigan's head but Martigan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Martigan rushes Landis and presses him up against the cage.
Landis tries to break the clinch but Martigan is controlling the position.

Landis breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Landis uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Martigan.
Martigan slips a straight right by Landis.
A telegraphed right hand from Landis misses the target.
Landis is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
A slow jab from Landis misses its intended target.
Landis throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Landis throws a jab but it's blocked by Martigan.
Martigan looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Martigan bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Martigan throws a nice looking combination but Landis bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
