Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Keller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Curtis Enis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Curtis Enis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mike Keller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Curtis Enis!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keller lands with a kick to the temple. Enis shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"


It looks like Curtis Enis has been cut.
Keller shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Enis pinned against the cage. Enis gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Keller tries for a takedown but Enis sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Mike Keller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Enis dives in and scores a takedown into Keller's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Enis wants to control from the top but Keller keeps moving.
Keller wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Keller is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Enis trying to control the position from guard on top but Keller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Curtis Enis.
Keller stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Keller looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Enis is fending him off so far but Keller persists. Nope, Enis circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Keller. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Enis shoots in but Keller avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Enis shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Enis tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Keller swivels and escapes.

Keller darts in and clinches Enis up against the cage.

Keller manages to break the clinch.
Enis fails with a takedown attempt.

Enis misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Keller cracks Enis with an open hand slap.
Keller throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Keller clinches with his opponent.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Enis gets underhooks to prevent Keller's takedown attempt.

Keller breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Keller tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Nice takedown defense from Enis. No joy for Keller on that attempt.
Keller is breathing heavily.
Keller wants to clinch up but Enis keeps it at a distance.
Keller tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Enis paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Keller fails in his attempt to clinch.
No luck for Keller with that takedown attempt.
Enis is trying hard to land a takedown here. Keller sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Keller throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Keller shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Enis defends it nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Enis shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Keller napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Enis has hold of Keller's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Keller seems comfortable defending it but Enis has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Keller is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Keller is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Enis couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Curtis Enis!
During a confident post fight interview, Curtis Enis thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
