Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Haral Dir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodrigo De Noteboom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rodrigo De Noteboom!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dir looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
De Noteboom moves into full guard.
Dir throwing strikes but missing.
Dir distracts De Noteboom with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Dir wants to control from the top but De Noteboom keeps moving.
Dir wanted to stand there but De Noteboom had control of the position.
Dir postures up in De Noteboom's guard and throws a big left but De Noteboom blocks it.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now De Noteboom is on top in guard.

Dir bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in De Noteboom's guard.

De Noteboom has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Dir has passed into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

De Noteboom is trying to control Dir's posture but Dir avoids it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

De Noteboom might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Dir kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

De Noteboom landing rabbit punches to the side of Dir's head. Not doing much damage but still scoring a few points.

Dir looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks De Noteboom with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Dir shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with De Noteboom but De Noteboom pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Dir closes the distance and clinches up with De Noteboom, looking for a takedown. Dir pushes De Noteboom against the cage but De Noteboom circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
De Noteboom shoots for a double leg takedown but Dir sprawls well. He's pushed De Noteboom's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Rodrigo De Noteboom is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
De Noteboom leaves Dir with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Rodrigo De Noteboom showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Dir's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
