Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mike Kroon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mitchell Lamzak!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Patrick Alders and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kroon has his takedown stuffed
enabling Lamzak to counter with a crisp jab.
Kroon misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Mike Kroon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lamzak throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lamzak fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Lamzak feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kroons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Lamzak is pressed up against the cage. Kroon has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lamzak down to the mat. Lamzak avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Kroon shoots in for a double leg but Lamzak sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Lamzak swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Kroon throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lamzak's waist but Lamzak gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kroon off to one side.

Kroon changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lamzak looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Kroon tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Lamzak is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Kroon is controlling him well.

Lamzak is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Kroon is looking to take a break and control but Lamzak is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Kroon tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kroon has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kroon wants to control but Lamzak is keeping him busy.
Lamzak is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Kroon is controlling him well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Mike Kroon will probably get the nod.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
