And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Paul Sutherland!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaumpe misses with a body kick.
Gaumpe moves out of range of the body kick.
Gaumpe scores with a push kick.
Sutherland tries for a takedown but Gaumpe sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Sutherland doesn't manage to clinch there - Gaumpe circles away.
Sutherland misses with a body kick.
Gaumpe fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sutherland manages to avoid it.
Sutherland fails in his attempt to clinch.
Sutherland avoids the head kick by Gaumpe.
Gaumpe dodges the punch combination from Sutherland.
Both fighters circling a little - Gaumpe finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Gaumpe connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

It looks like Paul Sutherland has been cut.
No luck for Sutherland with that takedown attempt.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Gaumpe, as that shot connected.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gaumpe lands with a thumping leg kick.
Gaumpe tries to bum rush Sutherland with a series of wild strikes but Sutherland uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sutherland moves in looking to clinch but Gaumpe pushes him off.
Gaumpe scores with a kick to the body.
Gaumpe scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Sutherland doesn't seem bothered though.
Gaumpe throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sutherland stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Good standup being displayed there by Gaumpe as he connects with a hook.
Gaumpe thuds a left hand into Sutherland's body.
Gaumpe cracks Sutherland on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Sutherland falls backwards against the cage. Gaumpe follows up with more strikes that drop Sutherland to his knees. Gaumpe keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Sutherland! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rantis Gaumpe!
Rantis Gaumpe really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Ganja's Warehouse logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
