The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones scores with the left hand. Leszcz knows he should have avoided that one.
Jones throws a poor cross that misses
and Leszcz counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jones throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Leszcz.
Jones swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up but Leszcz swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Leszcz counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Jones down! Leszcz is looking to finish but Jones is intelligently defending himself.

Jones is rocked!
Jones is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Oh Jones is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Leszcz is trying to maintain the position but Jones is very close to passing his half guard.

Jones seems to have got his legs back now.
Jones is thwarting Leszcz's attempts to control the position.
Jones is taking a breather. Leszcz says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Jones wants to lay and pray for a moment but Leszcz keeps working.
Jones passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Leszcz!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Leszcz can do anything to dispel that myth.
Leszcz is squirming around, avoiding Jones's attempts to control the action.
