The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Off on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Off keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Mayhem.
Off tries to close the distance and clinch but Mayhem swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mayhem misses with a shot to the body
and Off counters with a straight right hand.
Off gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Mayhem.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mayhem fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jax Mayhem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice uppercut lands for Mayhem. That snapped Off's head back.
Off tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mayhem swivels and escapes.
Mayhem misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

It looks like Jack Off has been cut.
Mayhem throws a lazy right hand but Off sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Mayhem connects with a single shot there.
Off tries for a takedown but Mayhem sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Mayhem misses with a lunging right hand
and Off counters with a left and a right that stings Mayhem.
Off moves in looking to clinch but Mayhem pushes him off.
Mayhem misses with a double jab.
Mayhem takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Nice cross by Mayhem.
Off staying out of range there.
Mayhem cracks Off with an open hand slap.
Mayhem is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Off tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mayhem swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Off throws a right and a left that Mayhem avoids nicely.
Mayhem throws a shot to the body.
Mayhem swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Off.
Off looks gassed!
Mayhem lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Off up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Mayhem from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Off's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
