Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dag Guti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Ruas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ruas has chosen Megadeth - Symphony of Destruction as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dag Guti!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Marco Ruas!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Dmitry Maklakov and Konstantin Menshow.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guti throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ruas's waist but Ruas gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Guti off to one side.
Guti will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Guti misses with a low kick.
Guti throws a series of punches but Ruas avoids them all with ease.
Guti is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Guti misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ruas.
Ruas throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Guti.
Guti throws a left and a right that both miss

and Ruas counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Ruas trying to mount his opponent but Guti defends it.
Ruas throwing shots but Guti is blocking nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ruas is working for a kimura but Guti is defending it quite comfortably.
Ruas thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Ruas is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Guti still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Guti has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Guti tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Ruas throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Guti tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Ruas gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Guti seems to be looking for submissions.
Guti is breathing heavily.
Ruas moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Ruas lands an upkick as Guti stands over him.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ruas wants to sweep here but Guti controlling him for the moment.
Ruas manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Ruas breaks from Guti's wrist control and lands an elbow.
A nice elbow there by Ruas.
Ruas lands with some strikes.
Guti is in a horrible position here. Ruas smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Ruas working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Ruas working for a guillotine from mount but Guti is in no mood to give up.

Guti is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Ruas locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Guti is forced to tap!
