The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deathgrip avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Cocksmith tries to move into range but Deathgrip moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

It looks like Jeff Cocksmith has been cut.

Deathgrip shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Deathgrip showed some decent athleticism there.
Cocksmith is looking to control Deathgrip's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Cocksmith avoid being mounted?
Deathgrip looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cocksmith is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Deathgrip's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Deathgrip's back!
Deathgrip turns into Cocksmith and is now in his guard.
Deathgrip prevents Cocksmith from getting back to his feet.
Deathgrip is pushing down on Cocksmith's leg trying to pass to half guard. Cocksmith is fighting to maintain full guard but Deathgrip has managed to sneak the leg through.
Deathgrip lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Cocksmith wants to get back to his feet.

Deathgrip seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Cocksmith is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
