Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Guilherme Fonseca!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Connor!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Wagner Zegers and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fonseca shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Fonseca was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Connor is trying to escape the mount.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Connor can do anything to dispel that myth.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Fonseca's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

We're going to have a standup here because Guilherme Fonseca wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Connor shoots for a double leg takedown but Fonseca sprawls well. He's pushed Connor's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Well Fonseca has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
