The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Hirohito Nitta and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
BayawaK has managed to clinch.
BayawaK lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Saukkonen drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Saukkonen can't get the takedown.
BayawaK lands an uppercut.
BayawaK working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
It looks like Roland Saukkonen has been cut.
BayawaK lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
BayawaK lands a hook to the side of the head.
Saukkonen tried to land a shot to the body but connects with BayawaK's elbow.
BayawaK is fighting off a takedown attempt but Saukkonen is just too persistent for him and manages to trip BayawaK to the mat. BayawaK regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Saukkonen wants to control from the top but BayawaK keeps moving.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Roland Saukkonen wasn't active enough on the ground.

Saukkonen throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. BayawaK was covering up waiting for the punch and Saukkonen finishes the takedown easily into guard.

BayawaK is looking to stand up but Saukkonen isn't so interested in that idea.

A less than humble Roland Saukkonen misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
