Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ben drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

It looks like Vik Ben has been cut.
Syroviy throws a head kick but Ben moves out of range.
Syroviy throws a sloppy head kick and Ben moves out of range easily.

Syroviy waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Ben. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Ben to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Syroviy throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ben works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Syroviy slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Syroviy's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Ben swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Syroviy connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Ben to the floor! Syroviy dives in looking for the finish!

Ben is still on wobbly legs! Can Syroviy finish him?
Ben throws a body punch but Syroviy moves out of range.
Ben seems to have recovered his senses.

Syroviy with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Syroviy circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Ben tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Syroviy wins by KO!
