The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Knox instigates a clinch.
Knox prevents the takedown attempt.
Yip Man working hard to break the clinch.
Knox working some nice short punches in the clinch.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Knox presses Yip Man against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Knox misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Yip Man tries for a takedown. No joy.
Knox displaying some good clinch control by pressing Yip Man up against the cage.
Knox prevents a takedown attempt there.
Johnny Knox has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Grand Master Yip Man.
Knox tries to throw a body punch but Yip Man avoids it by throwing Knox back against the cage.
Knox lands with a right to the head.

Knox has Yip Man pressed against the cage, preventing Yip Man from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Knox misses with a punch to the body.
Knox scores with a shoulder strike.
Yip Man is trying to break the clinch but Knox is controlling him.
Yip Man is looking to take this one to the mat.
Still in the clinch, Knox scores with a nice short uppercut.
Yip Man tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Knox just stands there and leans against the cage.

Knox struggles to land a body shot inside as Yip Man controls his hands.
Yip Man wants to break the clinch but can't.

Knox breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Knox fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Yip Man has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Knox tries to clinch up.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Yip Man crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Knox - the referee stops the clock and Yip Man gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Knox. Yip Man manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Yip Man looks gassed!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Yip Man walks into a straight right hand from Knox.

Knox drops Yip Man with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Yip Man looks back up at him and smiles so Knox waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Yip Man is rocked!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Knox is stalking Yip Man. Yip Man circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Knox, and it's lights out! Yip Man really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
