Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Matt Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Collie buddz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hunter comes to the cage accompanied by Dance Monkey -Sage Francis. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hunter rushes buddz and presses him up against the cage.
buddz drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
buddz wants a takedown but no success here.
buddz changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Hunter fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Matt Hunter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Collie buddz.
Hunter tries to clinch up.
A slapping leg kick lands for Hunter.
Hunter shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has buddz pinned against the cage. buddz gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

buddz is trying to work for a kimura but Hunter is defending well.

buddz is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hunter defends it well.
buddz wants to pass to mount but Hunter is defending the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Hunter wants to get back to full guard.
Hunter is trying to stand back up but buddz is controlling him

buddz wants to take a breather but Hunter is having none of it.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Hunter jumps guard and drags buddz to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
buddz wants to stand but Hunter is controlling his posture from full guard.

Hunter has his foot on buddz's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. buddz works his way back into a safe position though.
buddz wants to control from the top but Hunter keeps moving.
buddz is pushing down on Hunter's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hunter is fighting to maintain full guard but buddz has managed to sneak the leg through.
buddz takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
buddz is looking to take a break and control but Hunter is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
buddz is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

buddz looking to isolate an arm here. Hunter doesn't see it coming and as buddz extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by buddz!
