Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brick Top (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Liam Minard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Top comes to the cage accompanied by Killing in the name . Minard has chosen Walk as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decent striking displayed by Top there.
Minard moves out of range of the body kick from Top.
Top thows a body shot but no joy.

Top closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Minard tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Top smiles and moves away.

Minard throws a jab but it's blocked by Top.
Top on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Top connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Minard's hands.

Top bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Minard tries to bench press Top off him but Top keeps the position.

Top goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Minard turns into him and now he's in Top's guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Top has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Minard is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Top.

Liam Minard really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that 5th Round Clothing logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
