Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Xavier Kameron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vammie Weruke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kameron comes to the cage accompanied by Cashin Out. Weruke has chosen Waking the Demon - Bullet For My Valentine as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weruke misses with a hook

and Kameron counters with a takedown into side control.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Weruke tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kameron wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Kameron happy to just control the position for now.
The strikes coming from Kameron are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Kameron in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Weruke is trying to control Kameron's posture but Kameron avoids it.
Kameron looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Weruke is avoiding damage well.

Kameron working away.
Kameron trying to control the position but Weruke is working away.
Weruke manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Kameron has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Kameron thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Weruke's head.
Kameron is trying to control. Weruke wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Well, if Kameron is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Kameron frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Kameron lands a big shot there that rocks Weruke but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Weruke is looking to improve his position but Kameron isn't that keen on the idea.
Weruke looks gassed!
Kameron controlling his opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kameron cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Kameron trying to control but Weruke is having none of it.
Kameron tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Weruke bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Weruke wants to get up but he can't break Kameron's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Kameron wriggles free and stands up.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Weruke enables Kameron to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Weruke manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Weruke is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Kameron gets to his feet - Weruke follows without any prompting.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Kameron! Weruke is out on his feet! Kameron rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Weruke is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Weruke is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
