The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Massey closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hawkeye did well to prevent Massey getting side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Massey not doing much here.
Hawkeye keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Hawkeye has hold of Massey's hands but Massey slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Hawkeye makes his way to full guard, as Massey worked for a kimura.
Massey postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Massey is sitting in close to Hawkeye's body. Hawkeye has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Massey is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Massey is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Hawkeye.
