Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Randy Crespo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Weidman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crespo's entrance music is The final bell. A fine choice. The key to victory for Randy Crespo has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chris Weidman!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Luis Engracia and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crespo throws a nice looking combination but Weidman bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and Weidman counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Weidman uses his free foot to push down on Crespo's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Crespo.

Chris Weidman spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
