Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cockle Boffle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clayton Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Cockle Boffle has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Cockle Boffle seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Cockle Boffle!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Clayton Black!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Daniel Bishop and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black misses with a takedown
and Boffle counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Black with a poor takedown
and Boffle counters with a straight right hand.
Black shoots and misses
enabling Boffle to counter with a crisp jab.
Cockle Boffle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Clayton Black.
Boffle fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Black looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Boffle ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Black takes a body punch but keeps moving.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Boffle drives through and clinches with Black against the cage.
Black is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Boffle gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
A short uppercut from Boffle.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Black wants to take the fight to the mat but Boffle manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Boffle lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Boffle breaks from the clinch.
Oooooh!!! Boffle has knocked Black down with a huge combo! Boffle steps away and waves a wobbly Black back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Black is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Black with a poor takedown
and Boffle counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Cockle Boffle!
Cockle Boffle retains his lightweight title!
Cockle Boffle gave a mention to 160! in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
