Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, George Chambers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dmonray Flauta!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, David Schapiro and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chambers throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Chambers misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Flauta.
Flauta is trying hard to land a takedown here. Chambers sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Chambers scores with a jab to the body.
No luck for Flauta with that takedown attempt.
Flauta throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Chambers's waist but Chambers gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Flauta off to one side.
George Chambers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dmonray Flauta.
Flauta looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Chambers!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Flauta throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Flauta lands a big elbow.
Flauta postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Chambers looks a forlorn figure.

Chambers wants to control but Flauta is having none of it.
Flauta throws some wild stikes that Chambers manages to avoid easily.
Flauta connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Flauta sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

It looks like George Chambers has been cut.
Chambers holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Flauta tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Flauta lands with some strikes.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Flauta cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Chambers on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Chambers tries to get out of the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Flauta with the ground and pound from mount.
Flauta is landing with some decent strikes but Chambers is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Flauta thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Flauta connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Flauta unloads with some shots from mount but Chambers bucks and avoids them well.
Flauta has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Flauta throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Chambers because Flauta loaded up on that one.

George Chambers's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Chambers knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Flauta on the ground.

Flauta pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Chambers is rocked!
Jeez, George Chambers's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at George Chambers's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Dmonray Flauta!
