Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michael Lescott!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silfversberg lands with an uppercut that bounces Lescott off the cage and back into range.


It looks like Michael Lescott has been cut.
Silfversberg cracks Lescott with a right hand to the side of the head.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lescott. Silfversberg does a little dance to reset his feet.
Silfversberg connects with a right hand. Lescott shakes it off.

Silfversberg lands a nice shot that snaps Lescott's head back.

Lescott is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Silfversberg to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Silfversberg shrugs it off.

Lescott unloads with some shots from mount but Silfversberg bucks and avoids them well.
Silfversberg tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Silfversberg is squirming around, avoiding Lescott's attempts to control the action.

Lescott swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Silfversberg is now in Lescott's guard. A big mistake from Lescott there, giving up the dominant position!
Silfversberg wants to pass the guard but Lescott is keeping the position.

Silfversberg is pulling down on Lescott's head. It's preventing any offense from Lescott, at least for the moment.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jakob Silfversberg.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Silfversberg lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lescott circles away quickly and effectively.

Silfversberg is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lescott.

Lescott feints and as Silfversberg raises his hands in defense, Lescott changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lescott is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Silfversberg still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Silfversberg has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Silfversberg lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Lescott is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Lescott tries to get back to half guard but can't.
