Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chael Sonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trans Ite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ite shoots in looking for a takedown but Sonnen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ite's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Sonnen throws a right and a left that Ite avoids nicely.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Ite is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sonnen wants to control from the top but Ite keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ite looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Sonnen is defending well. Ite quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Sonnen has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Ite celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
