The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Springer has Corleone up against the cage in a clinch.

Springer instigates a clinch.

Corleone shoots in for a takedown but Springer shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Springer lands with a kick to the temple. Corleone shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Springer scores with a head kick. Corleone tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Springer misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Oh Corleone is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Corleone.

Corleone seems to have got his legs back now.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Corleone is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Springer has managed to free his arm - good work.
Springer tries to kick Corleone off but Corleone keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Corleone has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Springer defend it? Corleone steps over the head and cranks it - Springer is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Corleone!
