Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jake Shields (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teemu Yumma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Shields might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rage Against the Machine - Renegades of Funk. Yumma has chosen Poison as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yumma feints and as Shields raises his hands in defense, Yumma changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Shields is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Yumma defends well.

Yumma jerks Shields's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Shields drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Yumma goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Yumma because Shields was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

Teemu Yumma was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
