PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ingemar Anders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barnaba Graniecki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anders comes to the cage accompanied by Gods Son. Graniecki has chosen Bad to the bone as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Barnaba Graniecki!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Ivan Kurochkin and Konstantin Menshow.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Graniecki keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Anders.
Anders swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Anders lands with a straight right. Graniecki didn't see that one coming.
Graniecki misses with a double jab.
Good work by Graniecki as he checks the leg kick.
Anders misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A looping hook to the body misses from Graniecki. Anders does a little dance to reset his feet.
Anders fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Graniecki looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Graniecki lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Graniecki.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Anders.

Anders rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Graniecki counters with a head kick.
Anders avoids a punch combination nicely.
Anders slips a jab and a cross from Graniecki.
Graniecki looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Anders throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Graniecki stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Graniecki takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Graniecki throws a series of punches but Anders moves out of range.
A decent looking cross lands there for Anders.

It looks like Barnaba Graniecki has been cut.

Anders throws a series of punches but Graniecki avoids them all with ease.
Anders lands with an overhand left.

Anders connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Graniecki momentarily.
Graniecki swings away with a body shot that misses
and Graniecki takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Graniecki looks gassed!
Anders throws a sloppy head kick and Graniecki moves out of range easily.
Anders scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Anders misses the shot to the body.
Anders steps in with a hook that catches Graniecki right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Anders follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Graniecki looks absolutely devastated.
