PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Junior Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roberto Bex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bex has chosen Guys like me as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Roberto Bex will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva pushes Bex up against the ropes in a clinch.
Bex blocks the elbow strike.
Bex trying to stall but Silva improves his position.
Silva comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

It looks like Roberto Bex has been cut.

It looks like Junior Silva has been cut.
With the two fighters working up against the ropes, Silva just misses with a elbow thrown towards Bex's brow.
Bex lands an elbow just above Silva 's eye.
Silva goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bex prevents it.

Bex drops Silva with a big knee straight up the middle! Silva is covering up against the ropes but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Junior Silva's cut is getting worse.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Silva dives in and grabs Bex's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bex pushes down on Silva's head and hops out.

Junior Silva's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Bex lands a good knee to the midsection. Silva won't want to take too many of those.
Silva is breathing heavily.

Bex is trying to maintain a safe position but Silva gets an underhook and turns Bex into the ropes.
