Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryan McCormick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kalle Berg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCormick keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Berg moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
McCormick takes a jab right on the kisser.
McCormick avoids a punch combination nicely.
Berg blocks a head kick by McCormick.

McCormick isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Berg stacks McCormick on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Berg!

McCormick dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Berg. That did some damage!

Berg tries to bum rush McCormick with a series of wild strikes but McCormick uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

McCormick cracks Berg with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

McCormick throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Berg sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Berg might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control McCormick kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

McCormick shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. McCormick showed some decent athleticism there.

McCormick is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
McCormick stops Berg from getting back to his feet.
McCormick looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Berg with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Berg is not content to let McCormick control the position.

McCormick is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Berg is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
