Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jai Setright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Setright's entrance music is Dante's Inferno. A fine choice. Jack Black is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Donatello Bradman and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Black does no damage.
Setright throws a sloppy head kick and Black moves out of range easily.
Black blocks a jab.
Black ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Setright blocks a head kick by Black.
Black throws a combination that misses
and Setright counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Setright throws a nice head kick!

It looks like Jack Black has been cut.
Black is trying hard to land a takedown here. Setright sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Setright fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Black on the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Setright sizes up Black with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

and Black counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Black fails with a takedown attempt.
Black drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Black shoots in for a takedown but Setright shows good takedown defense.
Jai Setright has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Black.

Black closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Black sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Setright is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Setright is trying to buck Black off.

Black scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Setright to see if he's OK.

Black throws a strike aimed at the side of Setright's head but Setright avoids it well.

Black throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Black misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Setright dodges the ground and pound from Black.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Black has hold of Setright's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Setright tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Black cranks the arm and Setright screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Setright, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
