And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Phil DeBlunt!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
At Hammed throws a head kick but DeBlunt moves out of range.
DeBlunt throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck At Hammed on the side of the head.
DeBlunt misses with a looping right.

At Hammed instigates a clinch.
At Hammed is trying to pull guard but DeBlunt turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
At Hammed with an attempt at a knee that misses.
At Hammed fails to pull the fight into his guard.
At Hammed unloads a knee to the mid-section. DeBlunt lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
At Hammed tries to land a knee to the head but DeBlunt blocks with his arms.
At Hammed tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. DeBlunt smiles and moves away.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Phil DeBlunt hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
DeBlunt blocks a head kick by At Hammed.
DeBlunt misses with a hook. At Hammed ducked under it nicely.
DeBlunt looks to land a left hand but At Hammed moved out of range nicely.
At Hammed tries a head kick but it misses.
At Hammed fails with an attempt to clinch.

A shot to the liver by DeBlunt. Beautiful body shot.
DeBlunt avoids the head kick by At Hammed.
At Hammed is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
At Hammed bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Horrible takedown by At Hammed or perhaps it was just good defense by DeBlunt which made him look bad.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
DeBlunt lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
DeBlunt misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from At Hammed.
DeBlunt misses with a looping left.
DeBlunt will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and DeBlunt counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
DeBlunt scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. At Hammed doesn't seem bothered though.
