The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kotobalavu throws a chopping leg kick but Goin manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Goin takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Kotobalavu lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Goin throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Kotobalavu throws a low kick but Goin avoids it.
Goin tries to land a leg kick but Kotobalavu saw it coming and moves away.

Kotobalavu closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Kotobalavu is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Goin is defending against the submission attempts here by Kotobalavu.

Kotobalavu working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Kotobalavu is keen to just control but Goin is a slippery customer.
