The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abbott misses with an uppercut. Karev saw that one coming.
Abbott looks to land a left hand but Karev moved out of range nicely.
Karev lands a nice looking kick to the body. Abbott takes a step back to recover.

Karev tries to close the distance and clinch up but Abbott swats him away and circles back towards the center.
