Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Abel Hartz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Stokes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Stokes's choice of entrance music: Kanye West - I Don't Like ft. G.O.O.D. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stokes fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hartz moves to clinch but Stokes breaks away
and Stokes counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Stokes misses with a low kick.
Hartz steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Stokes.
Hartz tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hartz misses with a double jab
and Stokes counters with a nice kick to the body.
Hartz wants to clinch
and Stokes counters with a straight right hand.

Hartz fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Stokes to the ground. Hartz is now in Stokes's guard.
Hartz drops back, looking for a kneebar! Stokes looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Stokes looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Stokes!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Stokes has knee on belly momentarily but Hartz bucks him off and regains half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hartz regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Stokes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hartz changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stokes tries to avoid it but Hartz manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stokes to the ground. Stokes escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Hartz decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Hartz looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Hartz looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Stokes with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Anthony Stokes seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Hartz shoots in looking for a takedown. Stokes tries to sprawl out of it but Hartz keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stokes manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Hartz has Stokes pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Hartz pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Stokes tumbling to the mat - Hartz dives into Stokes's guard.
