Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between one pac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Warden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, one pac!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jason Warden!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Ackerman and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
pac tries to clinch up but Warden circles away and keeps his distance.

pac closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - pac lands in his opponent's guard.
Warden wants to control the position but pac says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Warden blocking the ground and pound attempt from pac.
Warden tries to roll over but pac keeps him under control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Warden has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. pac is working away from the top position though.
Warden is looking to improve his position.
Warden is trying to maintain the position but pac is very close to passing his half guard.
pac wants to free his trapped foot but Warden is holding on for dear life with his legs.
pac wants to lay and pray for a moment but Warden keeps working.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
pac shoots for a takedown but Warden saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Warden keeps the fight on the outside.

pac shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than pac was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
pac unloads with some shots from mount but Warden bucks and avoids them well.
Warden slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
pac is thwarting Warden's attempts to control the position.
Warden regains full guard. Nicely done.

pac preventing the sweep.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

pac is working Warden over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Warden manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
pac wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Warden tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
pac tries to lock up and control but Warden gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Warden wants to control the pace but pac is squirming around nicely.

pac wants to control but Warden is having none of it.
pac is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
pac is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Warden breaks from pac's wrist control and lands an elbow.
pac manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Warden tries to pass to full mount but pac defends it.
pac is breathing heavily.
Warden looks to land a strike but pac avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Warden won't allow pac to sweep him here.
Warden postures up.
Warden connects with a couple of short punches.

pac looking to hit a scissor sweep but Warden is one step ahead there.
Warden passes easily into side control. Nice work.
pac is not content to let Warden control the position.
Sloppy strikes there by Warden.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Warden drives through with a takedown into guard.

Warden stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. pac swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Warden is on the wrong end of a couple of strikes there.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

pac decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
pac passes the guard and advances to mount!

Warden is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
pac wants to control the pace but Warden is squirming around nicely.
Warden tries to hold on but pac pushes him away.

Warden is looking to get to half guard.

Warden tries to reverse the position but pac maintains control.
pac throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Warden because pac loaded up on that one.
pac prevents Warden from getting the reversal.

Warden is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
pac wants to control the pace but Warden is squirming around nicely.
Warden wants to hold on but pac pushes him away.
Warden tries to reverse the position but pac maintains control.
pac lands a big elbow.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Warden keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
pac thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
pac controlling from the full mount.
Warden tries to hold on but pac pushes him away.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
pac postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Warden looks a forlorn figure.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Warden is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Warden is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

pac gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Warden takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
A combination from Warden does no damage.
Warden throws a combination but it was largely blocked by pac.

pac tries to close the distance and clinch but Warden swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Horrible takedown by Warden or perhaps it was just good defense by pac which made him look bad.

Warden scores a takedown into full mount!
pac is squirming around, avoiding Warden's attempts to control the action.

Warden is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But pac has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from pac!
Warden is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and pac dives into side control.
pac sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Warden is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Warden manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
pac regains full guard. Nicely done.
Warden postures up.
Warden throws a strike but pac rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
pac is pushing down on Warden's leg trying to pass to half guard. Warden is fighting to maintain full guard but pac has managed to sneak the leg through.
Warden is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Warden manages to get to full guard.

Jason Warden has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Warden wants to stand but pac is controlling the position.
Warden throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Warden pulls pac in close to prevent any damage.
Warden wants to hit a switch here but pac passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Warden there!

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to one pac.
Well pac has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
