Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lelouch Laperouge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dic Cheddars (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lelouch Laperouge looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Laperouge enables Cheddars to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Laperouge manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Cheddars escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Laperouge gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Cheddars is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Cheddars working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Laperouge doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Laperouge manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Cheddars is on top in guard.

Laperouge isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Cheddars stacks Laperouge on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Cheddars!

Laperouge tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Cheddars wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Well Cheddars has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
