The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jenkins shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Longwe napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Longwe tries to buck Jenkins off but Jenkins is having none of it.

Jenkins tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Jenkins thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Jenkins is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Longwe has escaped the position, nice work there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jenkins swings around for an armbar but Longwe sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Jenkins's guard.
Longwe must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Jenkins lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Longwe!

Jenkins goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Longwe turns into him and now he's in Jenkins's guard.

Jenkins is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Longwe is aware though and is defending well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jenkins is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

A very excited looking Sparky Jenkins rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
