Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Hirohito Nitta and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nguyen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nguyen lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Nguyen.
Nguyen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nguyen misses with a two punch combination.
Nguyen displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lopez throws out the jab.
Nguyen leaves Lopez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Nguyen thows a body shot but no joy.

Nguyen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Lopez shoots in but no luck this time.

Nguyen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lopez moves away.

and Nguyen counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Nguyen misses with a wild body shot.
Nguyen is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Lopez rather than just go for the knockout.
Nguyen misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nguyen lands a left and a right that send Lopez crashing to the mat, dazed. Nguyen thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Jesus Lopez has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Nguyen counters with a crisp right that sends Lopez to the canvas! Nguyen follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
