The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Troyd throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Lecouc's head.

It looks like Alex Lecouc has been cut.
Alex Lecouc seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Troyd swings for the body but Lecouc moves out of range.
Lecouc looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Troyd digs a good body shot into Lecouc's ribs.
Good work by Troyd as he checks the leg kick.
Lecouc fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Troyd.
Lecouc tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Troyd is able to avoid easily.
Lecouc pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lecouc takes one to the chin there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Troyd is looking to slow Lecouc down with leg kicks.
A nice leg kick lands there from Troyd.
Lecouc gets off balance looking for a body kick
letting Troyd counter with a right hand.

Troyd lands a left and a right that send Lecouc crashing to the mat, dazed. Troyd thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Lecouc is rocked!
Troyd delivers a nice body kick.
Lecouc is still on wobbly legs! Can Troyd finish him?
Lecouc looks gassed!
Lecouc on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Troyd sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Lecouc's defenses. It connects perfectly with Lecouc's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
