Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ching Ling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Murilo Hartmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hartmann digs a good hook to Ling's body.

Ling fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hartmann avoids it really well and circles away.

Ling uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hartmann.
Ling shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hartmann sprawls well. Hartmann wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ling gets slowly back to his feet.

Ling fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hartmann to the ground. Ling is now in Hartmann's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Ching Ling has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Ling throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hartmann's waist but Hartmann gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ling off to one side.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Hartmann enables Ling to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hartmann manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Ling is looking to work some ground and pound but Hartmann has wrist control.
