And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jerry Springer!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Glass and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Springer looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Springer misses with a few strikes there.
Springer misses with a double jab.

Springer moves into the clinch.
Springer lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Springer breaks from the clinch.
Springer scores with a push kick.
Wash wants to clinch.
Horrible takedown by Wash or perhaps it was just good defense by Springer which made him look bad.

Wash gets tackled into the cage by Springer. Springer maintains the clinch.

Springer breaks the clinch.
Wash throws a head kick that misses.
Springer throws a sloppy head kick and Wash moves out of range easily.
Jerry Springer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wash moves into the clinch.
Springer tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Wash avoids it.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Wash breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Springer plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Wash tries to clinch but Springer moves away
and Springer counters with a two punch combo.

Wash has taken the fight to the clinch.
Wash is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
A knee to the head by Springer.
Springer looks gassed!
Springer landing knees to the head.
Wash tries to pull guard but Springer forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Wash fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Owen Wash. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Wash gets control of Springer's arms and successfully pulls guard. Wash will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Wash has Springer pulled in close to control his posture.

Springer has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Wash to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Springer is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Wash pulls down on the head and he's put Springer to sleep! This one is all over!
