Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alf Alfa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Trent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alfa's entrance music is Jiu Jitsu - Smoke Serpent. A fine choice. Trent is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Sub Focus - Rock It. Ryan Trent has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alf Alfa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ryan Trent!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alfa looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Alfa throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Trent's waist but Trent gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Alfa off to one side.
Trent misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and Trent makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alf Alfa. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Alfa fails with a takedown attempt.
Alfa shoots in but Trent avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A good leg kick by Trent.
Alfa shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Trent as he jumps to the side.
Trent lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Alfa throws out a leg kick but Trent moves out of range and Alfa only half commits.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Trent bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Alfa's head backwards.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Trent checks a low kick from Alfa.

Alfa looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Trent!
Alfa fails to advance to Trent's back.
You get the feeling that Trent really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Alfa is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Trent is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Trent flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Alfa anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Trent and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Alfa slips an arm under Trent chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Alfa has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Alfa is squeezing on Trent like an anaconda would it's prey. Trent fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Alf Alfa!
