Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Iain Durrant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Hart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 23 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Iain Durrant!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Sam Hart!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Valeri Chadov and Ivan Kurochkin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hart misses with an attempted mid kick.
Durrant swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hart lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

It looks like Iain Durrant has been cut.
Hart fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Hart misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Durrant takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Hart lands with a nice body kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Hart, right into the meat.
Durrant ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hart moves away.
Hart misses with an attempted mid kick.
Durrant lands a slapping body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Durrant stuffs the takedown.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Durrant crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Hart - the referee stops the clock and Durrant gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Hart. Durrant manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Durrant sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Hart jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Durrant lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hart at a distance.

Danga de danga de dang - Durrant scores with a four punch combination!
Durrant chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hart can pounce on him.
Durrant throws a jab when Hart was well out of range.

and Hart counters with an outside leg kick.
Durrant walks forward, straight into a front kick from Hart.
Durrant fails to land with a series of punches.
Hart lands with a nice body kick.
Hart lands with a kick to the temple. Durrant shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Durrant rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hart moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Iain Durrant is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A thudding body kick lands there by Hart!
Durrant misses with a few strikes there.
Hart avoids a punch combination nicely.
A looping hook to the body misses from Durrant. Hart does a little dance to reset his feet.

Hart gets the takedown into side control.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Hart trying to control the position but Durrant is working away.

Hart wants to control the pace but Durrant is squirming around nicely.

Durrant is in all sorts of trouble here.
Durrant bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Hart is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Durrant defends well.
Hart manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Hart cracks Durrant with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Hart lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Durrant is wriggling around trying to escape.
Hart trying to control but Durrant is having none of it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hart is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

and Hart counters with a good low kick that Durrant was not able to check.
Durrant throws a series of punches but Hart avoids them all with ease.
Hart swings for the body but Durrant moves out of range.
Hart throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Durrant lands the left hand.
Hart fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Durrant manages to avoid it.
Durrant throws a right hand that Hart ducks under and follows up with a left that Hart also avoids with ease.
Hart bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Hart connects with a leg kick. Durrant looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Durrant will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
Hart ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Durrant moves away.
Crunch! Hart slams his shin into Durrant's torso.
Durrant lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hart circles away quickly and effectively.
Durrant will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

A kick lands to the mid section there for Hart.

Hart lands a nice forearm strike.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Durrant takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Hart lands some shots froms side control.
Hart fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Durrant is trying to control Hart's posture but Hart avoids it.
Hart misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Hart remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Durrant manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Hart lands a nice short elbow.
Hart seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Durrant does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Hart is looking for a kimura here.
Hart has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Well Hart has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
