The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tupac stuffs the takedown.

Tupac shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Tupac was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Tupac unloads with some shots from mount but John bucks and avoids them well.
Tupac wants to take John's back but he can't do it this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tupac moves to his opponent's back but John bucks him off and ends up in guard. A bit of a disaster there for Tupac.

Tupac is looking for a triangle but John pushes his legs off easily.
Tupac is trying to control the position but John postures up.

Tupac has his foot on John's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. John works his way back into a safe position though.

Tupac is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! John rolls with it to try and escape but Tupac cranks on the arm and John is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
