Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chris Staehlin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, David Swain!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Ryoma Takatsuka and Paul Gruel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Staehlin throws a head kick but Swain moves out of range.
Staehlin shoots in for a double leg but Swain sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Swain waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Staehlin.
Staehlin feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Swain's calf.
Chris Staehlin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Staehlin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Swain tries to avoid it but Staehlin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Swain to the ground. Swain escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Staehlin thumps Swain with a low kick.
Swain jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Swain lands a glancing blow to the side of Staehlin's head.

It looks like Chris Staehlin has been cut.
Swain lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Swain lands with a right hand.
Swain lands a nice hook to Staehlin's body. Staehlin takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Staehlin is breathing heavily.

Swain feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Staehlin sprawling to the canvas! Staehlin rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Swain finish him?!

Staehlin is rocked!
Swain batters Staehlin with a massive right followed by a huge left! Staehlin is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Swain lands a final crushing right hand to drop Staehlin to the mat with a gruesome thud! Swain is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
