PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Time Boom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daryl Palumbo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palumbo is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Glassjaw - Cosmopolitan Blood Loss . Boom has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Time Boom!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Daryl Palumbo!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Ren Mimura and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palumbo blocks a head kick by Boom.
Palumbo misses with a combination
and Boom counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Palumbo misses with a few strikes there.
Palumbo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Boom moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Boom is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Boom is looking to clinch but Palumbo is avoiding it.
Boom is breathing heavily.
Palumbo checks a leg kick.
Palumbo tries to bum rush Boom with a series of wild strikes but Boom uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Palumbo throws a left and a right that both miss
and Boom counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Oooooh!!! Palumbo has knocked Boom down with a huge combo! Palumbo steps away and waves a wobbly Boom back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Boom is rocked!

It looks like Time Boom has been cut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Palumbo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Oh Boom is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Palumbo throws a right and a left that Boom avoids nicely.
Palumbo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Boom moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Boom tries to clinch
and Palumbo counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Boom to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Palumbo!
