Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mauricio Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reinhart Vult (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Vult's choice of entrance music: War Machine by KISS. Reinhart Vult will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vult throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Vult throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Rua pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Vult will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Rua up against the cage.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Vult pushes off an throws an elbow but Rua leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Vult lands a left hand.
Vult lands a good knee to the midsection. Rua won't want to take too many of those.
Rua working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Rua swings wildly with an uppercut but Vult uses good head movement to avoid it.

Rua has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Vult avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Rua throws a right hand that Vult ducks under and follows up with a left that Vult also avoids with ease.
Vult is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Rua moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Vult chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Rua can pounce on him.

Rua looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Rua is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Vult is in big trouble! Rua is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Vult. Poor guy.
