Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tex Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zhijing Wang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Wang ducks under a wild hook from Morgan.
Wang throws a head kick that half lands.
Wang tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Morgan lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Wang misses with a low kick.
Wang plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wang tries to land a front kick but Morgan steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Morgan lands with a hook. Wang tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Wang slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Morgan passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Wang!

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Morgan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wang moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Morgan takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Morgan drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Wang parries the strikes from Morgan easily there. Morgan is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Wang to escape.

Wang tries to buck Morgan off but Morgan is having none of it.

Morgan is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Wang manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Morgan manages to get himself to full guard.
Wang passes Morgan's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Tex Morgan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Morgan is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Wang's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Wang's back!
Morgan tries to keep control of the position but Wang is staying busy.
Morgan is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Morgan has his foot on Wang's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wang works his way back into a safe position though.
Wang throws an elbow that misses. Morgan uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Wang's guard. Nice move by Morgan!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
